OPINIONThe Caribbean Premier League 2020, is the first big T20 league to resume cricketing action, as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. West Indies played a key role in agreeing to tour England to resume test match cricket, and have taken the bold step in getting T20 cricket to resume in their backyard too. The Caribbean Premier League commences on 19th of August and runs until 10th of September, which comprises of 31 matches.
This event also provides an opportunity for the sports lover to resume playing fantasy cricket in T20 format, where the fortune changes quite unpredictably. Here is a pre-tournament primer that will help you prepare for your best picks in the tournament.

It does not matter how a batsman scores his runs in T20, as long as he scores. Fantasy points are calculated based on number of runs a batsman scores. The type of batsmen who do well in Fantasy points are the accumulators of runs. There is no positive bonus for a Strike rate.
The type of bowlers who do well in Fantasy points are the strike bowlers who pick wickets. It’s an added bonus if you have a bowler who manages to stifle the flow of runs.
