Noor Ahmad has been in good form in the Major League Cricket (MLC) and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the tournament for Texas Super Kings (TSK) with 10 wickets in seven innings at an economy rate of 8.60. He was the second-highest wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as well, with 24 scalps for CSK, conceding at 8.16 an over.
The Afghanistan spinner is enjoying life in the USA, where he is impressed with the level of cricket. “The level of cricket here is very good. Very good local players, very good international players. It’s always a good competition. I’m enjoying it,” he told TimesofIndia.com.
Noor, who is playing his second season in the MLC, further adds that the level of cricket in the US is getting better and better. “The level of cricket here is very good. Very good local players, very good international players. It’s always a good competition. I’m enjoying it,” he said.
Speaking of the conditions in America, the wrist-spinner said, “The boundaries are shorter here. The pitches are unpredictable, sometimes good for bowling, sometimes very flat and good for batting."
