Tim David Overshadows Shai Hope To Register Historic Century vs West Indies
The Australia batter smashed a record-breaking ton to take his side to victory against the West Indies
On his first batting performance since his return from injury, Tim David smashed a record-breaking hundred in the third T20 International (T20I) against the West Indies in Basseterre on July 25 (Friday). David got to his century off just 37 deliveries, making him the fastest from his country to reach the landmark. In fact David reached his fifty off just 16 deliveries - the fastest for Australia in T20Is.
Only David Miller and Rohit Sharma have reached their centuries faster than Tim, among players from full-member nations.
