Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Jake Fraser-McGurk registered a five-ball duck against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 17 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on April 5 (Saturday), and continued his terrible form in the 20-over format.
The right-handed from Australia looked completely clueless against Khaleel Ahmed at Chepauk, missing a couple of deliveries, before mistiming one to R Ashwin at mid-on.
In IPL 2024, Fraser-McGurk smashed 330 runs in nine innings at an average of 36.67 and a strike rate of 234, but has been in terrible form since then.
After IPL 2024, the 22-year-old has scored 421 runs in 27 innings at an average of 15.59 and a strike rate of just over 130. Fraser-McGurk has four ducks and 12 single-digit scores in this period.
Even in IPL 2025, Fraser-McGurk has scored 39 runs in three innings, with 38 of those coming in one innings. Those 38 runs as well came off 32 deliveries.
