Since the start of the 2021 season of CPL, all the 24 matches till now have been played at Warner’s Park. Teams batting first have the wood over the teams chasing with 13 wins. On an average, 160 runs have been scored in the first innings with an average first innings winning score of 177.
In the bowling front, the pacers have bagged the larger chunks of wickets (63%) as compared to spinners 37 percent. In terms of bowling strike rate as well, the pacers have been better with 16.5 as compared to 20.8. But, since the start of the season, there has been some help for the spinners. Though they haven’t got the wickets, it has been very difficult to score against them. Due to the lack of pace, spinners have bowled 42.5 percent of the overs.

With assistance in the pitch for spinners, none other than Sunil Narine, can be the biggest threat. In this season he already has 11 wickets, the joint third most among all. Overall in CPL, Narine has bagged 16 wickets at an average of 17.9 and a balls/dismissal ratio 19.5. Only against Guyana Amazon Warriors, Narine has a better balls/dismissal ratio (15.5).

The soon to be 37-year old, Ravi Rampaul earned his recall to the international side for the upcoming T20 World Cup on back of a sensational season so far. The medium pacers with his deceptions have bagged 17 wickets, the most among all the bowlers this season. Among bowlers who have bowled 15+ overs this season, his balls/dismissal ratio of 10.8 is the third best. With the ability to pick up early wickets, he is for sure an X-factor.

Fabian Allen in this season has been the complete all-rounder for St Kitts this season. He has picked up seven wickets and scored over 100 runs at a strike rate of 139.3. Any all-rounder who can score runs at an average of 30 runs and pick up a wicket per match, is certainly an X-factor

In a series where batsmen have struggled to score runs with ease, Evin Lewis has been different from all. His 241 runs this season have come at a strike rate of 146.9, which is the fourth best among batsmen who have batted 100+balls. St Kitts will be heavily dependent for a start from the explosive opener.
