Unstoppable Alyssa Healy Sets All-Time Australia Record With 4th World Cup Ton
The Australia skipper added to her legend with yet another extraordinary knock
Not many players peak at the age of 35 but Australia skipper Alyssa Healy is in the midst of an outrageous run of form, and there seems to be no stopping her.
It was only four days ago that Healy smashed a 107-ball 142 to help complete the biggest chase in ODI history against India, and today in Vizag, she picked up from where she left as the explosive opener hammered 113* off just 77 balls to help Australia thrash Bangladesh by 10 wickets and jump to the top of the table in the 50-over Women’s World Cup.
The extraordinary knock saw Healy smash 20 fours as she ensured Australia made light work of a 199 chase despite losing the toss and being asked to bowl first.
With the knock, the skipper set a new all-time Australia record, with her now scoring more World Cup tons than any Aussie in HISTORY!
Most World Cup tons by an Australian Women’s Player
4 - Alyssa Healy
3 - Meg Lanning
3 - Karen Rolton
She also became the first player in history to smash back-to-back tons in a World Cup in two different editions, having achieved the same feat back in 2022.
Players to hit back-to-back centuries in an edition of Women's World Cup
Debbie Hockley - 100* vs SL & 100 vs WI, 1997
Alyssa Healy - 129 vs WI & 170 vs ENG, 2022
Alyssa Healy - 142 vs IND & 113* vs BAN, 2025
Healy also became only the second player ever, after England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt, to hit multiple tons in two different editions of the 50-over World Cup.

Nat Sciver-Brunt
2017 - 2 centuries
2022 - 2 centuries
Alyssa Healy
2022 - 2 centuries
2025 - 2 centuries
The century today leaves Healy only behind Sciver-Brunt (5) in terms of centuries in World Cups. In the form she finds herself in, the Australian skipper could very well end up going past Sciver-Brunt by the time this edition of the tournament ends.
