Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to set records with his great outing in cricket. After becoming the youngest Youth Test centurion against Australia U-19 and becoming the youngest T20 centurion during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for the Rajasthan Royals, the 14-year-old now holds the record for the youngest Youth ODI century.
Suryavanshi achieved this feat while batting for India U-19 against England U-19 in the fourth youth ODI at the New Road County Ground in Worcester on July 5th (Saturday). By scoring the ton at 14 years and 100 days, Suryavanshi broke the record of former Bangladesh Test captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, who had scored a youth ODI century at the age of 14 years and 241 days in 2013.

Not only did the Bihar lad break the record for the youngest century in Youth ODIs, but Suryavanshi also slammed the fastest Youth ODI century by reaching the milestone in only 52 balls, breaking the record of Pakistan’s Qasim Akram.
