Delhi Capitals’ (DC) Jake Fraser-McGurk is more than ready for the Indian Premier League 2025. The swashbuckling opener from Australia smashed 110* off just 39 deliveries in an intra-squad warm-up match ahead of the IPL 2025, starting on March 22 (Saturday).
Fraser-McGurk, who is known for his fearless batting in white-ball cricket, smoked nine fours and 10 maximums in his outrageous knock.
The 22-year-old set the IPL 2024 on fire, slamming 330 runs in nine innings at an average of 36.66 and a strike rate of 234.04. He hit a total of 32 fours and 28 maximums.
The right-handed batter, however, hasn’t been in great form since then. He has only managed 382 runs in 24 innings at an average of 15.92.
Despite not being in great form, Fraser-McGurk is highly likely to start for DC in the IPL 2025. The Capitals will start their IPL 2025 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24.
