The International Masters League T20 2025 is underway and the six-team competition, which is an exhibition tournament played in the 20-over format, is witnessing a bunch of legendary yesteryear players, including Brian Lara, Chris Gayle, Shane Watson and Yuvraj Singh, partake in the competition.
The biggest name of all taking part in the tournament is none other than Sachin Tendulkar, who is leading ‘India Masters’ in the tournament.
In India’s first game against Sri Lanka Masters, Sachin managed only 10 off 8 balls but the Little Master was in serene touch in the clash against England Masters yesterday.
Sachin, against England, hammered 34 off 21 balls, smashing five fours and a six. He brought out some vintage strokes in his knock and turned back the clock properly, showing exactly why he is the most talented player the game has ever seen.
Among all strokes, though, the pick of the shots was none other than a DELIGHTFUL cover drive he hit off Steven Finn.
The former England pacer overpitched a delivery outside off, and Sachin absolutely CREAMED the ball through the covers. The connection was so sweet that the ball rocketed towards the boundary rope, making fans at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai go absolutely bananas.
The shot from Sachin was so vintage that it even left the opposition captain, Eoin Morgan, absolutely stunned.
