Drawing inspiration from NBA and NFL, the BCCI have unveiled a specially crafted ‘Champions’ ring for the 2024 T20 World Cup-winning side. The ring was unveiled earlier on February 1 during the yearly Naman Awards, where top Indian players were awarded prizes for their performance.
However, it wasn’t until February 7 that the BCCI posted a full video revealing the diamond-cladded ring. Every player got their own ring, with their name engraved on it, with Ashok chakra on the top, as India went undefeated in the entire competition.
"Presenting #TeamIndia with their CHAMPIONS RING to honour their flawless campaign in the #T20WorldCup," BCCI wrote on X.
"Diamonds may be forever, but this win certainly is immortalised in a billion hearts. These memories will 'Ring' loud and live with us forever."
