Australia's Tim David fell just two runs short of becoming only the second player to score a century in Abu Dhabi T10. In the final against Aspin Stallions, the powerful striker smashed 12 sixes and three fours for UAE Bulls to end his knock unbeaten on 98 off 30 deliveries.
At this point, the T in T10 might as well be Tim 🙌#AbuDhabiT10 pic.twitter.com/8Qtmq9SHfg

Only Sherfane Rutherford (103* off 40) has scored a century in the tournament, achieving this feat against the UP Nawabs last year.Â
David's knock propelled the Bulls to a commendable 150/1 in their 10 overs. David got into the groove, smashing four back-to-back sixes in the seventh over bowled by Zohair Iqbal. He added three more in the ninth over to get to his fifty off just 20 deliveries.
But the real carnage was in the final over, when David smashed five sixes to take 32 runs from left-arm spinner Ashmead Nedd's over. He peppered every part of the ground from deep mid-wicket to deep extra cover to set up a massive total for his team.Â
The Bulls won the match comfortably by 80 runs in the end.Â
