Throwdown specialist Raghavendra Dwivedi (fondly known as Raghu) is a crucial member of the Indian set-up and has been with the team for years, but is still unknown to the majority of the people outside the inner circle, including the police officials in Nagpur ahead of the first ODI against England on February 6.
When the Indian team reached the team hotel, Raghu was mistaken for a fan, and the police officials present stopped him from joining the other members, who were busy collecting their luggage.
As seen in the above video, Raghu started convincing the police officials that he is part of the team, and after a while, the cops finally allowed him to pass through.
The three-match ODI series between India and England will get underway in Nagpur before shifting to Cuttack and Ahmedabad.
Once the series is over on February 12, India will head to Dubai for the 2025 Champions Trophy, starting on February 19.
