Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine hung on to a stunning catch at slip to dismiss Rachin Ravindra in the ongoing first Test against New Zealand in Bulawayo on July 31 (Thursday).
Off-spinner Sikandar Raza bowled a flighted delivery just outside off and Ravindra, pushing at it, edged the ball to Ervine. It looked like a straightforward catch, but despite getting two hands to it, he fumbled and eventually held on to it with his left hand, diving sideways.

It was a vital wicket as Zimbabwe were in the middle of an excellent spell, having removed Henry Nicholls three overs ago. New Zealand had already taken a first-innings lead at that point, after bowling the hosts out for 149 in the first innings.
At the time of writing this, New Zealand had taken a 105-run lead at tea on Day 2 with Daryl Mitchell (48*) and Nathan Smith (8*) at the crease.
