Trouble doesn’t seem to be ending for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as after ending their five-match losing streak with a five-wicket win against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), their best player- 43-year-old MS Dhoni, seemed to have faced some injury issues as he was seen limping in the hotel lobby after the victory.
In the video footage posted online, it is seen that Dhoni, who was also not walking in his proper style during the post-match chats, was seen limping with the right foot. It was prominently evident as the CSK skipper was wearing shorts, unlike the post-match, where he was in team trousers.
It will be scary for the Super Kings if, by any chance, Dhoni is ruled out even for one game, as he is the glue that holds together a team, which otherwise looks like lost pieces of a puzzle.
However, it is worth mentioning that, in his long cricket career at the highest level, which is now 21 years old, with him making his India debut in 2004, Dhoni was hardly injured. You can count the number of injuries he has had on the fingers of just one hand. Thus, it is likely that Dhoni was suffering from cramps and will most likely lead CSK in their next game, which is against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 20.
