WATCH: RCB Replacement Player Joins Russell As Fastest CPL Centurion

Tim Seifert, who was signed by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as replacement for Jacob Bethell during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, smashed the joint-fastest century in Caribbean Premier League (CPL) history on August 31 (Sunday). 

Playing for the Saint Lucia Kings (SLK) in CPL 2025, Seifert achieved the feat in match 18 of the tournament against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons at the Daren Sammy International Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. 

Thanks to his 40-ball ton, the New Zealander joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) superstar Andre Russell as the players with the fastest CPL century to their name.

Russell hit a 40-ball ton in 2018, playing for Jamaica Tallawahs against his current team, the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), who were then known by the name of Trinidad and Tobago Red Stell. 

In his knock of 125 off just 53 balls, the Kiwi wicket-keeper hit 10 fours and nine sixes, taking his team to the target of 205 with a ball and two overs to spare.
