However, Bangladesh went down by six wickets in the game against India and they need to beat New Zealand in this game to stay alive in the series.
The 29-year-old will hope that he gets support from the other end to make it happen. Bangladesh have roped in the express pace of Nahid Rana, who has got the massive wicket of Kane Williamson to give their side a good chance.
If Bangladesh lose this game, they will be out of contention for a place in the semi-final. However, New Zealand, who beat Pakistan by six wickets in the tournament opener, will qualify for the final four with a win.
