The Indian cricket team will be sporting the tri-colour on their shoulders as their new kit for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was launched on February 5 (Wednesday).
In the new dress, the shoulder stripes will have a tri-colour, which is inspired from the Indian flag.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted pictures of all the members of the Indian team wearing the new jersey.
The players will be sporting this very new jersey in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, starting with the first ODI in Nagpur on February 6 (Thursday).
The tri-colour, prominent on the jersey, will appear after a very long time. It was in the 2003 ODI World Cup that the tri-colour last appeared prominently on the Indian jersey.
India will start their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
