With one game to go in the group stages of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the four semi-finalists have been decided. That’s right, India, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa have been confirmed as the four semi-finalists, making it an unchanged semi-final line-up from the ODI World Cup in 2023.
But who will face who in the semi-final of the 2025 Champions Trophy? More importantly, who will team India face in the semi-final in Dubai on February 4 (Tuesday)?
Who will India face in the semi-final?
As per the current format, the toppers from Group A will take on the second-placed team from Group B and vice-versa. So essentially, A1 vs B2 and B1 vs A2. Now, regardless of whether they finish A1 or A2, India will play in Dubai. But who will they play?
Well, South Africa have been confirmed as the toppers of Group B. So,
If India beat New Zealand on Sunday, they will face Australia in the semi-final
If India lose to New Zealand on Sunday, they will face South Africa in the semi-final
If India vs New Zealand is washed out, they will face South Africa in the semi-final
