The first Test between West Indies and Australia got over in the space of three days, with the visitors emerging victorious by 159 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The action now shifts to Grenada, where the second Test will be played from July 3 (Thursday).
Steve Smith, who missed the opening Test due to a finger injury, is set to be back and will replace one of Josh Inglis or Cameron Green in the playing XI. There’s also a possibility of Australia playing left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann, with one of the seamers being rested.
Meanwhile, the West Indies could also make a couple of changes to their line-up. Kevlon Anderson averages close to 45 in first-class cricket and could make his debut in Grenada. Young all-rounder Johann Layne could also get a game in place of Justin Greaves or Alzarri Joseph.
