Just two more games, and we will know the winners of the Women’s Premier League (2025). Delhi Capitals (DC) have directly qualified for the final and will take on the winners of the WPL 2025 Eliminator between Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Gujarat Giants (GG) on March 13 (Thursday). Meanwhile, GG lost three of their first four fixtures but managed to qualify for the playoffs by winning three of their last four matches.

Matches 6 | MI 6 | GG 0
That’s right, GG have never defeated MI in the WPL. They have lost all their six encounters against Harmanpreet and her team, who will once again be the clear favourites.
416 runs in eight innings at an average of 69.33 and a strike rate of 151.82 - Nat Sciver-Brunt has been the best batter of the WPL 2025. The right-hander from England has four 50-plus scores and has been dismissed for a score of less than 35 only once in this competition.
No other bowler has taken more wickets than Amelia Kerr. The legspinner from New Zealand has claimed 14 wickets in eight matches at an average of 16.71. Against GG, Kerr has 13 wickets in six games at an average of just 9.1.
The Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai has hosted two games so far in the WPL 2025, and not once has a team scored less than 170 in four innings. Both games have been won by the team batting first but the margins haven’t been too big. The spinners have been far more successful than seamers in these two games - (average 21.7 vs 45.3).
There’s no chance of rain in Mumbai on March 13 (Thursday), so we should get a full game. The temperature is likely to be around 30 degrees Celcius during match hours.
