It will be an interesting match-up, considering the Giants finished at the bottom of the table last season while RCB trumped the roost.
However, RCB have plenty of injury concerns, with Ellyse Perry (hip) and Asha Sobhana’s involvement being uncertain at this moment. There’s a strong chance that Danni Wyatt-Hodge will become an automatic starter, considering that Sophie Devine won’t be part of the competition this time around.
For Gujarat, there’s a change in the leadership role as Ashleigh Gardner takes over from fellow Australian Beth Mooney. Apart from that, how they fit in the trio of Phoebe Litchfield, Laura Wolvaardt, and Deandra Dottin in the same XI will be a huge headache.
