The women's team of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have the biggest expectations behind them coming into the 2025 edition of the WPL as the defending champions. The team created history in the 2024 season by finally fulfilling the dream of every RCB fan supporting both the men's and women's teams of winning a championship title.
Coming into the 2025 season, the team has made a few changes, notably signing Danni Wyatt-Hodge from the UP Warriors and making the first-ever trade in the Women's Premier League (WPL).
At the auction, the team went towards signing all-rounders from the domestic cricket in Uttarkand's spin bowling all-rounder Prema Rawat for 1.2 crore along with India U19 pace all-rounder in Joshitha VJ and Raghvi Bist who recently debuted for India in the WT20I series against West Indies. They also signed Mumbai off-spinner Jagravi Pawar in the auction.
England off-spinner Charlie Dean also joined the side post the WPL auction as the injury replacement for Australia's left-arm spinner Sophie Molineux, who got ruled out from WPL 2025 due to a knee injury.
