We’re all set for the final game of the Bengaluru leg of the 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL), with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on Delhi Capitals (DC). It’s a must-win clash for RCB, who have lost each of their last three matches. Meanwhile, DC, fresh off a victory against Mumbai Indians (MI), will be looking to further extend their lead at the top of the table.
With a win, DC will become the first team this season to reach double digits in terms of points. The clash is all but a must-win for RCB; four losses in a row will put them in a really bad spot.

Matches 6 | RCB 2 | DC 4
RCB have lost each of their last three matches, all at Chinnaswamy, while DC are on a two-match winning streak. RCB are starting to fall off while DC look like they’re peaking at the right time. So going by current form, DC should emerge as victors.
Despite her duck in the previous game, it’s hard to look past Ellyse Perry on this front. She has 235 runs at 78.33 this season and has been dismissed under 50 just once. Expect the Aussie legend and RCB fan favorite to bounce back in style and thrill the Chinnaswamy crowd once more.
Each of the top four wicket-takers in WPL 2025 are from these two sides. Still, this could turn out to be a direct clash between the two players fighting for the purple cap - Jess Jonassen and Renuka Thakur. Expect one of these two to make a strong impression in tomorrow’s contest.
After a high-scoring start, the last four games at the Chinnaswamy have seen the average scores reduce. The last four first innings totals read 123, 125, 142, and 127 and the team batting second has won every single time.
So the team winning the toss will have the advantage tomorrow as well.
There is a 10% chance of rain in Bengaluru on March 1 (Saturday) but we should get a full game. The temperature is expected to be pleasant, with it hovering around the early to mid-20s.
