After a rare home loss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) women would want to bounce back against UP Warriorz, a team that they have always dominated. The 2024 WPL champions will have a chance to extend their winning streak against UP Warriorz.
However, the Deepti Sharma-led Warriorz will always fancy their chance, especially with how the conditions have been in Bengaluru with the ball turning. It is perhaps their best-ever opportunity to turn their form around their bogey team.

RCB have a very good head-to-head record against UP Warriorz, with three wins out of four games. The last time UP Warriorz beat RCB was way back in 2023 when the Alyssa Healy-led side smashed them by 10 wickets.
While UP Warriorz might have had a good game against Delhi Capitals last time around, they might not win against a rampant RCB side, who are firm favourites in front of their home fans.
Plus, they have a wood over them with three straight wins.
Amongst these two teams and their four clashes, the best batter is Alyssa Healy (UPW), with 157 runs. However, the Australian batter isn’t part of this year’s WPL, which makes Ellyse Perry the best batter in this rivalry, with 128 runs.
Yet again, all eyes will be on Sophie Ecclestone, who is the best bowler not just in this rivalry but also in WPL history. The left-arm spinner was the best bowler in WPL history to bag 30 wickets, and she has picked up seven wickets against RCB.
Ironically, thus far, across the two games, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium hasn’t been as free-scoring as it used to be. In the first game, RCB scored 167, which was chased by MI not before spinners had their say. Even in the second clash at the venue, spinners had a substantial say, with nine wickets out of the 19 for the spinners. So, expect spinners to have a say.
There is no threat of rain on February 24 (Monday), with the weather set to be at the 20-degree mark. Expect a full 40-over clash between the two sides.
