Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally handed a debut to Sneh Rana in the 2025 edition of the Women’s Premier League. The all-rounder, who was roped in as a replacement for Shreyanka Patil, made her debut against UP Warriorz on February 24 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Rana has played 12 WPL clashes, all representing Gujarat Giants, a franchise she also skippered in the inaugural edition. The all-rounder went unsold at the WPL 2025 auction before becoming a late addition to the RCB setup.
RCB will benefit from the 31-year-old’s experience. Uttarakhand-born Rana has scored 47 runs and picked up six wickets with the ball. After two very indifferent games, RCB decided to replace a young VJ Joshitha with Rana on a track that has assisted spin.
