An aggressive avatar of Arundhati Reddy was seen as she gave a huge send-off to young Shweta Sehrawat after cleaning up her stumps with a big inswinger.
Sehrawat came to bat in the tenth over of the match against Capitals in Bengaluru after Deepti Sharma was dismissed for a slow 13 off 19 deliveries. The UP Warriorz (UPW) were in dire need of runs, and Sehrawat skipped down the track on her third ball only and smashed a full delivery from Reddy down the ground for a six over long off that struck the cushion on the full.
While the next ball was a dot, Sehrawat used deft touch on a short delivery outside off and played it late past the keeper for a four to the third man fence.
How's that for a response? 😎🔥

However, Reddy was ready to extract her revenge and redemption on the next delivery. She bowled a booking inswinger that pitched full and evaded Sehrawat’s bat that was in the process of making a bit of room to go over the infield, and crashed into her stumps.
She let out of a loud roar after that and gestured with her hands towards the batter to return to the pavilion.
The UPW ended with 177/9 largely due to Chinelle Henry’s 62 off just 23 deliveries.
