WPL 2025 WATCH: Priya Mishra Bamboozles Aussie Duo In Same Over

After going wicketless in the opener, Gujarat Giants’ leg-spinner Priya Mishra was at her lethal best against UP Warriorz on February 16, removing the Australian duo of Tahlia McGrath and Grace Harris.

McGrath hasn’t been in the best of forms at the Women’s Premier League, scoring 0, 3, 1, 1, 22 and 7 in her last six games. The right-hander hoped to put that bad form past her but couldn’t get bat on the skidder from Mishra, eventually succumbing straight in front of the stumps for a second-ball duck.

While Harris had started off in a streaky manner with an inside edge for a four, she was undone by a brutal googly. The Australian power-hitting batter had no clue, with the ball turning to disturb the timber. It even led to the Indian leggie reacting wildly, with the 20-year-old pointing fingers at herself, showing, “I’m here”. 

From 73/3, the Warriorz collapsed to 78/5, all in one over, showing how vulnerable their middle order is as the leg-spinner ran away with glory in the middle overs.
