Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal will return to Northamptonshire yet again this summer on a contract that will run from June till the end of the 2025 season. Chahal’s deal is very similar to his previous campaign for the English county.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time here last season, so I'm very happy to be coming back," Chahal said.
"There are some great people in that dressing room, and I can't wait to be part of that again.
Last season, Chahal helped Northamptonshire to a fourth-place finish, taking 19 wickets in four matches and averaging 21.10. It was during that season when Chahal registered figures of 9/99, and will yet again be a crucial cog in the franchise’s wheels.
"We played some great cricket towards the back end of the season so hopefully we're able to replicate that and big up some victories."
The 34-year-old will be available for County Championship and One-Day Cup campaigns after finishing his IPL stint with Punjab Kings in IPL 2025.
