It has been a total mismatch between New Zealand and Zimbabwe, as the BlackCaps, on August 9 (Saturday), completed an innings & 359 runs win in the second Test in Bulawayo. The margin of win was the third-highest in Test history, and the highest-ever for New Zealand in a red-ball format.
Only England (inns & 579 runs vs AUS, 1938) and Australia (inns & 360 runs vs SA, 2002) have achieved a victory bigger than what the Kiwis achieved in Zimbabwe.

Like New Zealand, it was a special Test for debutant Zakary Foulkes, who registered the best-ever figures on debut, with figures of 9/75. The debutant impressed immediately on debut, with figures of 4/38 in his very first innings, including the two big fishes - Sean Williams and Craig Ervine.

Foulkes then returned in the second innings to run through Zimbabwe’s middle and lower order, with figures of 5/37 to wrap up a special win for the Blackcaps.
