Adil Rashid to Andy Balbirnie, OUT! CAUGHT! End of a brilliant innings from Balbirnie but could he have waited for Rashid to finish his spell? That will be the question going into his mind. Rashid does the trick again. He has been a pivotal bowler for England and he has delivered yet again. Tossed up ball outside off, Balbirnie makes room in order to target the short boundary. He does not time it well and the ball goes straight into the hands of Sam Billings at long off.

Tom Curran to Andy Balbirnie, OUT! Stirling is indeed short! He is already on his way out of the ground. End of a magnificent innings by the opener. Had there been a crowd in here, everybody would have bee on their feel applauding the effort just like his teammates have. Not many would have given Ireland a chance when they were set this target but due to his innings, the visitors are favourites at the moment. Still though there is some time to go and this could well be the opening England needed. Coming to the ball now, This is on off, it is carved towards point. Stirling sets off, he wants a run but his partner is not interested. He sends him back from halfway down. The fielder at point throws it to Curran who hits the stumps at his end. An appeal and it is taken upstairs. Replays roll in and they show that Stirling is short.

Tom Curran to Andy Balbirnie, FOUR! Balbirnie gets to his ton in style! His 6th ODIs! It has come in less than a run-a-ball. Just what was needed. Outstanding from the skipper. Saved his best for the last. He though knows the job is not done as of now. It is a full ball outside off, Balbirnie carves it over point and it races away to the fence.

David Willey to Andy Balbirnie, FOUR! Up and over! The bad balls though have to be put away and Andy does that. It is short and on middle, it sits up to be hit. Balbirnie pulls it over mid-wicket for a boundary. This is turning out to be another expensive over by Willey.

David Willey to Paul Stirling, SIX! Outrageous! Once again a boundary to start the over. This is right in the arc for Stirling. He shuffles across and it is bowled on a length and around off, Stirling goes down on one knee and heaves it over the mid-wicket fence. Once again pressure on the bowler.

David Willey to Paul Stirling, FOUR! Consecutive boundaries! This is brilliant stuff from Stirling. The bowlers are clueless as to where can they bowl to him. Willey this time shortens his length, it is on middle, Stirling plays the pick-up shot. It is wide of the fielder at deep square leg and a boundary results. 8 from the first two balls. This could well be a big over.

David Willey to Gareth Delany, OUT! TIMBER! Delany has been bowled around his legs! The decent start and the opening stand which looked promising has been cut short. Another low score for Delany and Willey once again draws first blood for his country. Delany looks to be a little fancy, he was generally clearing his front leg but this time shuffles right across. He exposes his leg pole. Willey bowls it on the stumps. Delany looks to flick but he is way too across, he misses and it hits the leg stump. England are delighted. Ireland need another 279 runs.

7.5
Saqib Mahmood to Paul Stirling, SIX! BANG! Almost a carbon copy of the last delivery! This though was slightly fuller, not exactly full but fuller than the last ball. Paul whips it well over the square leg fence. Once again he picked the length early and hit it with the angle. The two biggies would release some pressure.
