Abdul Samad to Sam Curran, SIX! Curran finishes it in style but it is not enough! Tossed up on middle, Curran comes down the track and hits it straight over Abdul Samad's head for a biggie. Does not matter though! HYDERABAD WIN BY 7 RUNS!

Abdul Samad to MS Dhoni, FOUR! Good ball but Dhoni has hit it like a bullet! Tossed up very full on off, Dhoni comes down a bit and hits it straight and hard past Samad for a boundary. 17 needed now off 4 balls.

T Natarajan to Ravindra Jadeja, OUT! CAUGHT! Fifty and out for Jadeja! This is what the pressure of the required runs going up does. Short ball on middle, Jadeja pulls it but straight to Abdul Samad at deep square leg. He does not have to move an inch and the youngster takes a simple catch. Dhoni is still out there and the batters have crossed as that catch has been taken. No, they have not crossed.

T Natarajan to Ravindra Jadeja, SIX! Chennai needed biggies and Jadeja has got one. FIFTY FOR JADEJA! Natarajan attempts a yorker but bowls a full toss on the pads, Jadeja flicks it over square leg and gets to his fifty in style.

T Natarajan to Ravindra Jadeja, DROPPED AND FOUR! The fielding has been good so far but not on this occasion! What's worse is that it goes for a boundary! Good length ball on off, Jadeja miscues it towards long off. Pandey moves backwards but fails to hold on and the ball goes to the fence.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ravindra Jadeja, EDGED AND FOUR! Lucky but Chennai need everything that comes their way. Back of a length on middle and off, Jadeja looks to pull but gets an inside edge which goes to the left and away from Bairstow.

Abdul Samad to Kedar Jadhav, OUT! CAUGHT! The change in bowling does the trick! Excellent captaincy from Warner. Floated leg spinner around off, Kedar looks to hit it on the up but ends up hitting it uppishly straight to short extra cover. The ball comes at a good pace but Warner is too good a fielder to drop those and he pouches it in safely as he tumbles to the ground. 123 needed off 70 balls now. Hyderabad on top at this point of time but with MS Dhoni still out in the middle, they cannot let their guard down.

T Natarajan to Kedar Jadhav, OUT! RUN OUT! Faf is short of his crease and the ball has hit the stump. The two Chennai batters who have been the best batters for the side are back in the pavillion in quick succession. Chennai in huge trouble now. On the pads, Kedar flicks it to deep mid-wicket. Priyam Garg is having an awesome game here and cannot do much wrong tonight. He gets to the ball quickly and sends a throw at the keeper's end. Faf is slow in his stride. Bairstow runs towards the stumps and manages to deflect the ball with his gloves onto the stumps. Replay rolls in and Faf is short of his crease. There is no doubt about it but the T.V. umpire has a few looks to see whether the gloves disturbed the stumps or the ball. No luck for Chennai or du Plessis as the replays confirm it is the ball.

T Natarajan to Faf du Plessis, FOUR! Once again excellent use of the feet from the South African. Length ball on middle, Faf makes a bit of room by going away from his stumps and also dances down the track to flat-bat it over the bowler's head for a boundary.

T Natarajan to Faf du Plessis, FOUR! Faf continues his good scoring run! Length ball on middle, du Plessis comes down the ground and goes over the head of Natarajan for a boundary.

T Natarajan to Ambati Rayudu, OUT! BOWLED! What a beauty from Natarajan! Absolute peach to get rid of Ambati Rayudu. A little lapse in concentration as well from Ambati Rayudu. Natrajan steams in and bowls a length ball with a beautiful seam position. It pitches around leg and goes away from Rayudu. Ambati looks to defend but misreads the swing and the ball misses his outside edge to hit the top of middle and off. Rayudu looked excellent in his first outing but does not have a fairytale return to the side.

Khaleel Ahmed to Faf du Plessis, FOUR! Smartly done! Good length ball on middle, du Plessis goes on his knees and paddle scoops it over the keeper for a boundary.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Shane Watson, OUT! DRAGGED ON! Chennai are off to a poor start again! Watson's struggles in this year's Indian T20 League continues. Kumar was troubling Watson with his line and length and he gets his reward. Back of a length ball outside off, Watson looks to cut but it takes the inside edge and it goes onto hit the stumps. Warner is happy as he knows how important that wicket is. Chennai need 161 from 105 balls.
