Tanveer Sangha to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! TAKEN! That is a superb catch but Stoinis will be gutted with himself! That is one of the worst balls he has got out to! It is way too short and sits up to be hit. Stoinis rocks back and pulls, he may have lost his shape towards the end as he does not time it. It goes more off the splice and towards deep mid-wicket, it is also the longer part. Sams runs to his right and takes a good sliding catch. Is this the opening Thunder needed? 69 needed in 52.

Tanveer Sangha to Glenn Maxwell, OUT! TAKEN! Two-in-two and the stars of the Stars, Maxwell and Stoinis depart on back-to-back deliveries. Thunder well and truly back into this one. What was that from Maxwell though? Having just lost Stoinis, that is a poor shot. He knows that but brave bowling from Sangha. He gives it air, floats it up and lands it on off. Tempts Maxwell to go big and he does. The ball though lands and then turns away. He ends up slicing it towards long off. Easy catch for Cutting. Game on here, the game is well and truly on. Sangha on a hat-trick.

Gurinder Sandhu to Andre Russell, SIX! A length ball, outside off. Russell smashes it to deep mid-wicket, it almost looked like will go all the way but Sams catches it there. His momentum is taking him over so he flicks it back to Green who is standing across. There is drama as the fielder throws it back to the bowler who tries to clip the bails off but the umpire tells him to wait. The third umpire is called to check the boundary and after many replays, the big board shows NOT OUT and it is been given as a six. The replays showed that Sams stepped on the ropes.
