Jackson Bird to Jake Fraser-McGurk, OUT! LBW! Well, Jake Fraser-McGurk was living on the edge and now he gets thrown off the edge. Jackson Bird pitches it up, around middle and leg. The ball nips back in after pitching and Fraser-McGurk just looks to hit through the line of the ball. He misses and gets rapped on the back leg. Huge shout from the bowler and given. The replay confirms that the ball was just clipping leg side. Perfect start for Bird and the Sixers.

Sean Abbott to Aaron Finch, OUT! LBW! I don't think there's any doubt about this one! A length ball from Sean Abbott. This is bowled around off and the ball just darts it sharply after pitching. Aaron Finch strides out to defend and his front pad is in the way. Finch gets pinged in front and it looks like his front pad is also appealing for that one. The umpire raises his finger in a jiffy and the Renegades lose both their openers.

Todd Murphy to Nic Maddinson, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The pressure was building up and something had to happen! Plus, the off spinner took the ball away from both these left-handers so they couldn't cut loose with ease! Tossed up, wide outside off as Nic Maddinson dances down the track. He looks to hit it over covers but misses the ball. Josh Philippe does the rest. But hold on, the replay shows that there was a knick as well and it is given as caught behind and not stumping.

Ben Dwarshuis to Shaun Marsh, FOUR! Risky but it works! Length ball, middle. Marsh hits it hard and past the diving cover fielder for a boundary. They need a lot, lot more of these. That is just the fifth boundary of the innings.

Ben Dwarshuis to Mackenzie Harvey, OUT! TAKEN! Josh Philippe with a fabulous take! Ben Dwarshuis delivers a length ball that is angled at the pads. Mackenzie Harvey gives himself a bit of room and looks to go big over the mid-wicket fence. Harvey ends up getting a top edge which goes miles up in the air and towards the vacant mid-wicket region. The keeper, Philippe, calls it early and races towards the ball. He gets there with time to spare and hangs on to a brilliant catch.

Hayden Kerr to Shaun Marsh, OUT! Cleaned up! Hayden Kerr knocks over Shaun Marsh and is absolutely pumped up. A length ball, around the top of off but it is slower in pace. Shaun Marsh doesn't pick it out of the hand and hangs deep to play the cracking pull shot. Marsh is way too early in his shot and the ball nips back in off the surface a bit. The ball crashes into off and middle and with Marsh gone, the Renegades in deep trouble.

Ben Dwarshuis to Will Sutherland, OUT! CAUGHT! Now, this is what you call a plan coming together. As only two fielders are allowed outside the inner ring, a man is placed on the square leg fence. Ben Dwarshuis bowls a length ball, around leg and cramps Sutherland for room. Will Sutherland tries to take on the fielder and whips it off his legs. He manages to hit it straight down the throat of Jack Edwards at the square leg fence and he takes an easy catch.

Ben Dwarshuis to Sam Harper, OUT! TAKEN! That is probably the final nail in the coffin. A low full toss this time, around middle and leg. Sam Harper shuffles across the leg stump and tries to loft it over covers. The ball comes off the toe end of the bat and is sliced towards cover-point. Moises Henriques slides to his right and takes the catch. Harper just casually asked Abbott whether he took the catch and in return, got a thumbs up from the fielder and he continued walking. Good to see the trust

Sean Abbott to Cameron Boyce, OUT! BOWLED! Sean Abbott gets his second wicket of the night. The Renegades are just tumbling like nine-pins here. Full and on off. Cameron Boyce looks to drive it on the off side but the ball sneaks beneath and hits the off stump on the full. Cameron Boyce is out for a duck on his return but one can't blame him. Renegades on the verge of yet another thumping defeat.

Ben Dwarshuis to Zahir Khan, OUT! BOWLED! A 5-wicket haul for Ben Dwarshuis! His first one too! Full, on off. Khan looks to block it but gets no bat on it. Instead, the ball goes onto hit the stumps. Sydney Sixers win by 45 runs!
