That is all we have from this game. The action though continues in the Caribbean Premier League. There is another clash left in the day between Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors. Do join us for the same at 7 pm local (11 pm GMT). Till then, take care and goodbye!
Kieron Pollard, the victorious captain of Trinbago Knight Riders, says that it was difficult out there as the conditions were tricky and Seifert came out and he gave them the impetus. On Sunil Narine bowing slightly late, he says that he bowled late because they wanted to save him against Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite and Sunil adjusted to what the team needed. Praises Ali Khan and says that he has been doing it time and time again. Opines that they have some momentum and they just want to pick 2 points whenever they play.
Rovman Powell, the skipper of Jamaica Tallawahs, says that they did not bowl to their plan in the last few overs and that hurt them. Adds that their start with the bat is not ideal and they hope to turn things around. Mentions that they will talk and relax a bit before the next game and will look to get it right.
Ali Khan is the Player of the Match! He says that he needed to put a good display and he is happy that he has made his mark. Adds that it would not have been possible if his teammates did not support him. Tells that he loves playing in CPL and it is one of his most favorite leagues to play in. Opines that they had a shaky start but they are now just taking one game at a time. Khan thanks all the fans of Trinbago Knight Riders for their support and says that this display was for them.
Earlier in the day, it looked a bad day at first, for the Knight Riders. They did not get to the best of starts and struggled throughout their innings. But in the final three overs, they launched into the Tallawahs, smashing them to all parts. Kieron Pollard and Tim Seifert stitched in a match-winning partnership and it was those three overs which spoilt the game for Jamaica. Their spinners had created a leash on the opposition, only to see that unleashed by the seamers in the last 3 overs. Please stay tuned for the presentation.
... THE PRESENTATION ...
Not much to talk about when it comes to the batting of Jamaica Tallawahs. Their top order once again failed to perform and they were always behind the curve. Jason Mohammed and Rovman Powell did try to repair things but they did not get enough boundaries and the required rate was always climbing. Even Carlos Brathwaite and Andre Russell could not deal with the pressure which was put by the spin bowlers and lost their wickets quickly. Overall, they will be very disappointed with their show.
Trinbago Knight Riders bowled extremely well. They kept things very tight and were rewarded with wickets. Ali Khan took 3 wickets at the start to put them well on top. Then, the spinners squeezed things in the middle overs. Sunil Narine took 2 wickets, while Khary Pierre and Akeal Hosein took 1 each. The spinners kept building the pressure on the batters and got the wickets. In the death overs, Ali Khan and Ravi Rampaul did the rest and won them the game. Khan ended with 4 wickets while Rampaul ended with 2.
What a sensational win for Trinbago Knight Riders. They finished their batting in style and put on a big score on the board. Then, their bowlers did the rest and defended it with ease. They have done the double on Jamaica Tallawahs and would be very happy with their show.

Ali Khan to Chris Green ,OUT! TAKEN! Easily done. Khan gets his fourth wicket of the game and he has made a statement with his bowling in this game. A full toss, on middle and leg, Chris Green moves leg side but only manages to chip this one towards mid off. Colin Munro moves to his right and pouches this easily.
