Don't forget to join us for all the action. Cheers!
Dwayne Bravo, the victorious captain of Delhi Bulls, calls it a team effort and wants his boys to relax as they will be playing again on Sunday. Adds that he wants his players to stay professional and play with the right intensity. Mentions that his role as a captain is to give his teammates the luxury of expressing themselves on the field.
ADIL RASHID (2-0-6-2) IS THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH! The leggie says that he was required in this match and is happy to contribute. Feels that they bowled extremely well and the seamers set the tone for them. Tells that it's the nature of the T10 cricket, on some days you get smashed and on some days you pick wickets.
Presentation time...
This game was set up by the bowlers of the Delhi Bulls. They bowled amazingly well to restrict Bangla Tigers to just 69 runs and then their batting unit chased down the target to give the Bulls their second win of the season. Sherfane Rutherford batted with a lot of intent while Eoin Morgan also got a good hit in the middle as he finished the chase with a quickfire 16-ball 26. James Faulkner was brilliant with the ball and in his 2-over spell, he picked up two wickets by giving away just 9 runs. Still, his effort was not going to be enough as the Tigers didn't have a handy total to defend.
Emphatic win for Delhi Bulls although they would have liked to scale down the target a bit more convincingly. They tried to demolish the target of 70 runs in quick time to swell their net run rate but it didn't work out well for them. In an attempt to score quickly, they kept losing wickets and had to eventually pull back their big shots. Still, their victory was never in question and the Bulls completed the chase with 11 balls to spare.
