A top, top bowling performance by Bangla Tigers. It was James Faulkner who started the proceedings by sending back the opening pair on his first two deliveries. But he took a good beating in his second over. Luke Wood then chipped in with a wicket of Livingstone. Benny Howell continues his merry way in this competition, he bagged a couple of wickets. Mohammad Amir takes a wicket in the penultimate over. Udana does well to in the final over, with two dot balls, which were gold dust and managed to take the game away from Team Abu Dhabi.
A slow start for Team Abu Dhabi! The opening pair started off pretty slowly, they could not up the ante from the first delivery. Ingram and Stirling were soon sent back on single digits. Then it was a Livingstone show which was short-lived, as he was sent back after hitting three monstrous sixes. Gayle then got to the party by hitting a couple of boundaries, but Benjamin on the other slipped out without causing any trouble. Salt who got out off the field in the first innings after getting hit on the kneecap, had to come out to bat seeing the position of his team. He was clearly limping but that did not stop him from bagging boundaries but got slipped out soon. Gayle later was expected to do all the job alone, with lower order batters coming in. The Universe Boss fought till the end but it fell just short in the end.
Bangla Tigers extend their winning run in this competiton. They have handed Team Abu Dhabi their first defeat of the campaign. It was a complete team effort by Bangla Tigers. Faf du Plessis has a smile on his face. Bangla Tigers continue to go from strength-to-strength.
