Wahab Riaz, the skipper of Deccan Gladiators says that it is great to be on top of the table as the players are putting in a lot of effort and are looking forward to the next round. Says that he wished to bowl more dot balls. Adds that their bowling unit is doing very well and they have to pull socks before playing. Tells that he was happy to take Morgan's wicket as he is the biggest guy in the tournament. Adds that he still has 4-5 years to play for.
Wanindu Hasaranga is the Player of the Match, he says that he has really enjoyed his bowling and has played with his attributes and feels that's why he was successful. On being the leading wicket-taker, he says that it feels really good and mentions that he is enjoying playing with this team.
Stay tuned for the Presentation.
Nothing to write for Delhi Bulls. Their batters did not manage enough runs and the bowlers have to bowl some magic spells. A disappointing night for them as they managed only two wickets, both taken by spinners.
A comfortable chase for Deccan Gladiators. Although they lose Tom Kohler-Cadmore early on. It never created havoc as Tom Banton and Najibullah Zadran cruise near the chase with ease. Najibullah Zadran fell after making 35 off just 11 balls, doing the job for his team and then Andre Russell scored the winning runs.
So the teams chasing today have won three out of three and that too comprehensively. Deccan Gladiators leapfrogs two other teams to get on top of the table with a better net run rate.
