... PRESENTATION TIME ...
Deccan Gladiators, on the other hand, did not have the best start with the bat. Anwar Ali was the only batsman who was looking in good touch. David Wiese had to depart after playing a cameo. He tried hard to get his team across the line, but could not stay till the end. Wanindu Hasaranga gave a slight ray of hope to his side towards the end but could not manage to take Deccan Gladiators home. In the end, a top effort by the team.
Team Abu Dhabi put up a decent total on the board, fireworks from Liam Livingstone and Colin Ingram helped them to get there. They had a dream start with the ball, Sheldon Cottrell picked a wicket off his very first delivery, and gave away just 4 runs in the first over. Marchant de Lange did leak a few runs in his first over, but he came back strongly in his second and picked two important wickets. Credit to Phil Salt, who got the wicket of the dangerous David Wiese with his direct hit. But a beautiful job done by the bowlers, to pick up wickets at regular intervals and help seal the deal. Team Abu Dhabi go number 1 with this victory with 14 points on the board.
What a game we have witnessed here! A last-over thriller! In the end, it's Team Abu Dhabi with the last laugh. They have won the match and regained the top spot in the points table. Credit to the Deccan Gladiators batters, who took it till the very end, but fell short of 8 runs.

Naveen-ul-Haq to Wahab Riaz ,OUT! RUN OUT! Full and just outside off, Wahab Riaz misses the cover drive. Yet again, they look to scamper through and yet again Philip Salt does an excellent job of scoring the direct hit. The umpire sends it upstairs and we can see that Odean Smith is well short of his crease. Two run outs in two balls. Also, Naveen-ul-Haq got a body blow while colliding with Wahab Riaz as he was running through. The physio checks him and Naveen-ul-Haq is good to continue.
Wahab Riaz is the new man in.
