Nathan Ellis to Jason Roy, OUT! CAUGHT! Jason Roy bags a golden duck. His luck has not changed. Nathan Ellis begins with a shortish delivery outside off, Jason Roy tries to push inside the line and guide it past short third man but there is some extra bounce. Jordan Thompson to Sam Curran, OUT! CAUGHT! Thompson delivers it on a good length, around middle and off and gets it to skid off the surface. Sam Curran sits on the back foot and tries to heave it over the leg side. It though comes from the higher portion of his blade and flies straight into the hands of Glenn Maxwell at mid on. The Aussie will catch those even in his sleep. Two setbacks inside the Powerplay for Oval Invincibles.

Jordan Thompson serves this one slightly short and around off, Will Jacks aims for a big shot over the leg side but it takes the inner half of his blade and goes in the air. Nathan Ellis to Sam Billings, OUT! The catch has been declared clean and Sam Billings is not happy, as he walks back. Oval Invincibles are in absolute tatters. Ellis has two now. He delivers it on a shortish length outside off, Sam Billings stays back to punch but mistimes it in the air towards short cover. Dan Lawrence is manning that area and he dives forward to take the catch. The two umpires get together and refer it upstairs. The soft signal is out. The third umpire finds that Dan's hands are wrapped under the ball. Sam doesn't like the decision, has a word with a few players of the opposite camp and then returns.

Mason Crane to Hilton Cartwright, SIX! The catch is taken but the fielder has touched the fence. Ellis is visibly disappointed with himself, maybe he could have flicked it to Maxwell standing near him. Floated and full, around off, Hilton Cartwright slog-sweeps it from the top half of his blade towards deep mid-wicket. Nathan Ellis gets underneath it and takes the catch but touches the fence also. Usually, we see fielders parrying those types of catches but Ellis failed to get rid of the ball.
