Mitchell Starc to Martin Guptill, OUT! TAKEN! This time he is caught and Martin Guptill departs early! Starc strikes in his first over and this was just what they needed to keep their spirits high. Starc bowls this one very cleverly. Pushes it full and wider outside off. Guptill goes for a big drive away from his body. However, he only manages to get a thick outside edge and the ball goes quite quickly towards first slip. Finch takes a sharp catch and Australia celebrate.

Sean Abbott to Devon Conway, OUT! CAUGHT! What an outstanding bowling change and Sean Abbott strikes immediately! He serves this on a good length and straying down leg, Sean Abbott swivels and looks to lift this over the fine leg fielder. Does not get a good connection and the ball floats into the palms of Adam Zampa who gets both hands to it but still fumbles slightly. He manages to hold on though and New Zealand have lost both their openers.

The batter obliges and pushes at the ball but gets a thick outside edge that flies to first slip. Aaron Finch takes the catch quite well and New Zealand are crumbling in this run chase. Sean Abbott has come into the attack and turned the tide in his team's favor.

Daryl Mitchell departs and sadly for New Zealand, this chase is going nowhere at the moment for them. This is tossed up, on off. Daryl Mitchell gets across and tries to reverse-sweep it. He, however, misses. The ball hits his pads and there is a huge appeal and the umpire eventually raises his finger. Daryl Mitchell after consulting his partner takes the review but it does not make any difference as the Snicko shows no bat there and the Ball Tracking shows three reds as well. Daryl Mitchell has to take that long walk back to the pavilion.

He serves this on a fuller length and angles the ball into the stumps, Michael Bracewell looks to flick this leg side but does not connect well and the ball hits the pads. The ball lobs into the air and Glenn Maxwell at backward point comes running forward and takes a fine catch. There is a massive appeal for LBW initially but the umpire remains unmoved. Adam Zampa to Tim Southee, OUT! BOWLED! Too good for Tim Southee this and it has really been a great bowling effort from the Aussies. This is lovely bowling by Zampa. He bowls a perfect googly that pitches around off and turns into Southee. He tries to defend it off the front foot. However, the ball sneaks between his bat and pad and shatters the stumps. Australia are just two wickets away now from sealing this series.
