This is tossed up, full and on off, Yannic Cariah tucks it towards short mid-wicket and sets off for the run and his partner Keacy Carty responds too. However, he asks his partner to go back leaving him in no man's land. Martin Guptill there is quick to pick up the ball and release the throw while being in mid air and hits the bullseye at the non striker's end. The replays show that Keacy Carty is well short of his crease and has to go back. He is dissappointed and Windies lose their seventh.

It looks like it has enough power to go over but Finn Allen there runs towards his right and grabs it but he realises that he is going over the ropes, so he flicks the ball up in the air and then comes back in to complete the catch. The umpires wants to check if the catch is clean or not and sends it upstairs. The replays show that Allen has done well and that is the end of the West Indies innings. New Zealand win by 50 runs (D/L Method) and level the series 1-1.
