Megan Schutt to Sophie Devine, OUT! LBW! What a dream start for Megan Schutt and Australia Women as both the New Zealand Women openers walk back for a duck. Schutt goes a bit wider of the crease and angles in a fullish length delivery from around off stump. Sophie Devine gets across the line and looks to flick it away but instead Devine ends up playing all around it and gets pinged in front. There is a huge appeal and the finger is raised. Devine reviews but there's nothing on UltraEdge and Ball Tracking shows three reds. New Zealand Women in early trouble here.

Ellyse Perry to Bernadine Bezuidenhout, OUT! GONE! Is that a catch? Yes, it is! Darcie Brown and Ellyse Perry are high-fiving eachother but there isn't much interest from anyone else. The third umpire is called in and the soft signal is not out. She checks a couple of different angles and is satisfied that the fingers are underneath the ball and the decision is overturned. Ellyse Perry bangs it in short and over off stump, Bernadine Bezuidenhout looks to club it over mid off but mistimes it badly. Darcie Brown runs forward and puts in the dive just claw the ball just milimeters off the ground. Bezuidenhout cannot believe it as the ball seemed to have half-vollied into the hands and the soft signal was also not out.
