Presentations coming up...
Earlier in the match, England Women were reeling at 29/3 but Natalie Sciver, Heather Knight, and Amy Jones steadied the sinking ship for them. They made their team reach to a good total of 151 runs. Renuka Singh was the pick of the bowler of India Women as she picked up a fifer and ended her spell with excellent (4-0-15-5) figures.
A valiant effort from Richa Ghosh goes in vain. She made an excellent attempt at the very end but just couldn't get her team over the line. Smriti Mandhana was the only batter who stood firm from the start, the non-strikers kept on losing wickets. She was dismissed after scoring a fine 52 runs. Later, Richa Ghosh scored a quickfire 47 runs but it just wasn't enough.
An excellent game of cricket comes to an end and it is England Women who came out on top. They bowled really well throughout the innings and kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. All of their bowlers were economical, baring the last over from Katherine Brunt. Sarah Glenn picked up two wickets which included a crucial wicket of Smriti Mandhana, and was certainly the pick of the bowlers for them.
