...Presentation time...
UP bowlers were really good, they made a match out of a score which we felt was under par. The likes of Deepti Sharma, and Sophie Devine were really good, to begin with. However, as the game progressed. The bowling was also not upto the mark and the fielding was also a little poor and that is what cost them the game. They managed to fight back well but failed to capitalize on crunch moments.
Finally, finally, Bangalore have managed to win a game! They remain alive in the race for the playoffs. The chase though wasn't as straightforward as we thought it would be at the start of the second innings. Sophie Devine got them off to a flier but once she fell, they lost the top four in no time. At one time, UP were favourites to get over the line but Kanika Ahuja and Richa Ghosh played brilliantly to forge a match-winning stand. Kanika played a gem of a knock. She batted brilliantly and was the mainstay in the stand between the two. They took their team to the brink of a win before Kanika fell. Richa though stayed there till the end and took her side over the line.
