Among the 260 bowlers that Dhoni has faced in the IPL, he has not been dismissed by 174 of them. Among them there are many international talents who have bowled regularly against him but have failed to dismiss 'Captain Cool'.

Axar Patel has been one of the trickiest spinners to face in IPL. The DC bowler is known for bowling accurate line and lengths which make batters make errors and eventually get dismissed. He has had good numbers against big time players like Rohit Sharma, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers and others.
But when it comes to bowling against MS Dhoni, he has bowled 63 balls and has failed to dismiss him even once. It is the most balls Dhoni has faced against a bowler in IPL without getting out.
Coming into IPL 2025, Axar will be hoping to finally get the better of Dhoni after consistently being accurate against him.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the most successful bowlers in IPL history. He is currently the second most successful pacer in IPL after Dwayne Bravo, with 181 wickets.
He has had good success against Virat Kohli, Kieron Pollard, Ajinkya Rahane and others. However, Dhoni is one of the few big players against who he's not had success.
Across 11 innings, Bhuvneshwar has been smashed by the CSK veteran, who has scored 94 runs in 57 balls at a SR of 165 against him without getting dismissed once. Mohammed Siraj has had a terrible time while bowling against MS Dhoni in IPL as the former RCB pacer has been taken to the cleaners multiple times by Dhoni, who has scored 52 runs in just 29 balls at a spectacular SR of 179 against him.
The face-off was largely during the 2017 and 2018 season where Dhoni hammered 41 runs in just 22 balls at a SR of 185. In the most recent times, there has not been much balls faced by Dhoni against Siraj as since 2019, the right-armer has bowled just seven balls to the former CSK captain, only giving away 10 runs.
In the upcoming 2025 season, Siraj will be representing Gujarat Titans (GT), against whom CSK have built a nice rivalry of late. The face-off will be fun to watch as Siraj will be expecting to get the better of Dhoni this time around.
