Australians have changed their DNA because of money, IPL contracts: Ramiz Raja

"New Zealand ran away and England followed the same suit. They both have done wrong against us," the PCB chief adds

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has hit out at the Australian cricketers saying that they have changed their DNA for money, referring to their participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He further adds that when they play against India, they without their usual aggressive approach. New Zealand and England recently backed out from touring Pakistan and since then, the two countries have been on the receiving end of criticism from all corners.

“Australians have changed their DNA because of money, they play against India happily and without aggressive approach. International cricketers have pressure as now they want to save their IPL contracts where they receive a lot of money plus add-ons,” Raja was quoted as saying to ARY News.

Raja further added that both England and Pakistan ran away and have wronged Pakistan. “New Zealand ran away and England followed the same suit. They both have done wrong against us,” said Raja.

Pakistan does not have any more international assignments ahead of the T20 World Cup due to the pullouts. However, their players are in action in the domestic National T20 competition.
