There have been articles about me not wanting to play Test cricket. Just to clarify, I have always prepared myself for all three formats irrespective of the team selection and will continue to do the same.

The Uttar Pradesh quick missed a huge chunk of the Indian Premier League (IPL) last season but returned for the limited-overs series against England. Bhuvi also endured a tough IPL 2021, in which he managed to pick up just three wickets from five matches. With India playing six Tests in England over the next few months, beginning with the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, Bhuvneshwar does not find his name in the squad.
