Cricketer Who Represented Two Countries In Tests Announces Retirement

The batter played eight Tests for Zimbabwe and seven for Ireland

Peter Moor, who played international cricket for Zimbabwe and Ireland, announced his retirement on July 10 (Thursday). 

The 34-year-old batter, who was born in Harare, made his debut for Zimbabwe in 2014. Moor played 49 ODIs, 21 T20Is and eight Tests for Zimbabwe.

Moor then shifted his base to Ireland and played first of his seven Tests for the country in 2023. He never played white-ball cricket for Ireland.

Overall, Moor scored close to 2000 runs across all three formats in international cricket. He hit 11 fifties but never managed to get a century.
