Davidson-Richards called up to England's ODIs against SA

Alice Davidson-Richards, who scored a hundred on her Test debut, returns to England's ODI set up after four years

A brilliant 107 on her Test debut earned Alice Davidson-Richards a recall to England's ODI set up for the three-match series against South Africa women beginning on July 11.

Issy Wong and Lauren Bell, who impressed in the one-off Test at Taunton, were also included in the 14-woman squad.

Davidson-Richards' only ODI was against India in 2018 at Nagpur. In the drawn Test against South Africa, she became the second England woman to score a century and claim a wicket on (1-43) on debut.

Wong and Bell made their international debuts in the Test, claiming 3-100 and 2-73 respectively.

"Although these South Africa ODIs don't form part of the ICC Women's Championship, we are at the beginning of a new three-year cycle, which is so exciting. We have to keep looking forward and trying to improve as a team, and we were so delighted with the energy and skill that the four debutants brought in the LV= Insurance Test match," England head coach Lisa Keightly said.

England Women ODI squad: Heather Knight (C), Tammy Beaumont, Lauren Bell, Katherine Brunt, Kate Cross, Alice Davidson-Richards, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Amy Jones, Emma Lamb, Nat Sciver, Issy Wong, Danni Wyatt
