Rishabh Pant continues to do wonders with the bat, as he's slammed yet another Test century for India. With that, he now has the most centuries by an Indian wicketkeeper-batter, going past MS Dhoni's six.
Dhoni had six centuries in 90 Tests, while Pant has gone past him in just 44 games. The 27-year-old got to the landmark in typical Pant fashion - charging down the track, and smashing off-spinner Shoaib Bashir over long-on with one hand coming off the bat handle.
7 - Rishabh Pant
6 - MS Dhoni
3 - Wriddhiman Saha
2 - Bhudi Kunderan
2 - Syed Kirmani
2 - Farokh Engineer
"Superb, Superb, Superb," is how Sunil Gavaskar described Pant's century. A massive praise after the former India captain criticised Pant for his rash batting and the way he threw his wicket away in Australia.
Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal are the other centurions in this game. This has therefore become only the sixth instance of three or more players scoring a century for India in an away Test.

On Day 1 of the Headingly Test, Pant went past 3,000 Test runs, only the second Indian wicketkeeper after Dhoni to do so. He has now broken yet another Dhoni record. With the way he is going, it certainly will not be the last.
